The hospital comprises of 20 inpatient beds, broadly categorized into general and private wards housed on the third and fourth floor of the building. It also includes a recovery area where post operative patients are cared for as it is adjoining to the operation theatre.
All rooms are provided with patient call bell facility wherein at the push of a button the nursing staff caters to the needs of the patient if any. The In house canteen, housed on the fifth floor, provides nutritious meals to both patients and attendants at cost effective rates. Nursing station housed on the third floor caters to the needs of all the in patients round the clock.
Dr. Champakam , the eminent female surgeon who joined Daya Memorial (Hygiea Hospital), post retirement from Safdarjung Hospital was one of the first to work in this hospital besides Dr. Khanna (FRCS). Till to date, successful, complex and simple surgeries have been done at this hospital with good outcomes which include minimally invasive surgeries (Laparascopic Cholecystectomies) besides conventional surgeries.
